Where It All Started
It began in 2020, with a simple idea and a small backyard setup.
What started as a curiosity about natural, sustainable materials quickly turned into something more. As a family, we were looking for ways to reduce waste and live a little closer to nature—using what we had, rather than relying on heavily processed products.
Biochar caught our attention for its simplicity and versatility. Made from natural materials and used for generations in different parts of the world, it felt like something worth bringing back into everyday life.
So we began experimenting.

Our original mission with our business was to spread the message about the environment and clear our atmosphere. However over time our goals for the company have evolved…
We still strive to reduce co2 levels, but also educate our family about Burn My Footprint so they can carry our mission into the future.
Who We Are
As a family, we’re involved in every step of the process. From producing the biochar itself to designing and assembling each product, we keep things hands-on and small-scale. It allows us to focus on quality, reduce waste, and stay true to the values we started with.
We’re not a big operation, and that’s intentional. Keeping things close means we can take our time, improve as we go, and make products we genuinely use in our own homes every day.
At the heart of it, we’re just people who care about making useful things—naturally, and with purpose.
How We Produce Biochar
Our process is rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and respect for the land. We produce our biochar using carefully selected natural materials, primarily untreated wood and organic waste sourced locally.
We use small-scale, controlled kilns that allow us to closely monitor temperature and airflow. This hands-on approach ensures consistent quality while keeping our environmental impact low.
Every batch we produce reflects our commitment to sustainability, quality, and doing things the right way—not the fastest way.
